Willits Celtic Renaissance Faire is set in Gretna Green, Scotland in the year of our Lord 1563. It is a lush green village on the southern border of Scotland next to a beautiful loch. We will be most graciously visited by Queen Mary Stuart (just arrived from France), in procession to view her lands and her loyal subjects. We are having a Harvest Festival and Market Day where fine foods, wares and crafted treasures abound. Merry travelers will come from far and wide to entertain. Jugglers, fools, dancers and players are at the will of all to play and perform.

Lose yourself in the world of Renaissance Europe. Come and experience the best of live theater and shows aplenty; bands, singing, dancing, storytelling, comedy acts, feasts, merchants and re-creations of sword fighting, and battles.

  • Myth and Magic, a two men comedy and magic show
  • Fowl Tales, a one man, three parrot and one dog extravaganza performance that charms and entertains the whole family.
  • Trey Cromwell, Professional Showoff, a one man danger show that combines combining variety arts like juggling, contortion and escape artistry into a seamless whole.
  • The Merry Praynksters, a country dancing group, will whirl and wind among the patrons with their period dancing while Danse Macabre will progress through the streets enthralled in their dance with death their hunting music and attire leaving patrons in awe.
Come cheer swordsmen fighting for the prize:
Throughout the day on Saturday a rapier tournament will be held by St. Michael’s Salle d’Armes, then on Sunday they will offer lectures and lessons on the use of the sword.

A portion of the proceeds to benefit a local high school drama and literacy programs and MS Moms
